In his mid-20s and hailing from Quebec, Amir brings a fresh perspective and an unyielding passion for multi-species angling.

Known for putting guests on big fish, he combines his growing expertise with a hard-working spirit that is truly inspiring. “My name is Phoenix Fathers. I’m 24 years old and was born and raised in Winnipeg but I have grown up at my grandparents fishing camp on Lake Of The Woods and spent the last 10 years guiding fishing and hunting out there.
I am truly passionate about being out on the water, hard water or in the bush with people, perfecting my craft and giving someone the best experience possible all while creating memories and sharing knowledge.
I am beyond excited to join team Bakers Narrows and create some memories with you as well as put you on some giant fish.”

“My name is Zak Prenger, I’m 34 years old, I’m a guide in Northern Ontario for 6 months of the year. MY favorite species to catch are lake trout and smallmouth bass.
I have fished bass tournaments in southern Ontario for several years. I grew up in Haliburton Ontario catching walleye and lake trout every chance I could get!
I enjoy fishing the Caribbean islands on my off time.

Ryan joins our team this winter after four seasons managing an outpost in the far north of Manitoba. An experienced guide, he has worked at some of the highest quality hunting and fishing lodges in Canada and now also runs his own outfitting business in the south of Manitoba. He approaches guiding with a client-centric attitude and strives to provide the best opportunity for success every day. Visit our office to book him this Winter season!

Dedicated fishing guide and camp manager
Cory has a deep passion for the great outdoors. He first started fishing with his grandparents at a young age. Beginning guiding in northern MB in 2022, he fell in love with it. With years of experience at Bain Lake Outpost for Ganglers Outfitting, Cory has honed his skills in providing exceptional fishing experiences, ensuring that every angler leaves with unforgettable memories.
This winter season, we’re thrilled to welcome Cory to our team at Bakers Narrows Lodge. His enthusiasm for guiding and extensive knowledge of local fishing spots make him an invaluable addition. Whether he’s sharing tips on the best techniques or leading clients to their dream catch, Cory’s commitment to excellence shines through.
